The petitioner seeks direction that the representation dated 14.01.2025 (Annexure 5 to the writ petition) filed by her may be decided expeditiously by the respondent no.2. Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has got permission to purchase a firearm, but within stipulated time she could not purchase it as the firearm of her choice was not available. She filed various applications before the respondent no.2 seeking extension of time and lastly such application was filed on 14.01.2025. It has yet not been decided. Learned State counsel gives a statement that representation of the petitioner shall be decided within four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State counsel. The petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure 5 to the petition) within a period of four weeks.
