This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. 2. Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the Collector-cum-Land Acquisition Authority, Dhenkanal- Opposite Party No.2 to consider his representation dated 29th August, 2025 and 26th September, 2025 and release compensation by impleading him as a party to the land acquisition proceeding on the basis of a Will executed by one of the recorded tenants, namely, Trinath Rana S/o Bhima Rana. 3. Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel being authorised by Ms. Nayak, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that land of Trinath Rana, the recorded tenant and others were acquired and land acquisition cases were initiated on the file of the Land Acquisition Officer, Odopada. 4. The matter is at present pending before the LAR and R Authority (N.D.) Odisha, Sambalpur, in L.A. Case No.45 of 2019 and L.A. Case No. 46 of 2019 by way of reference. p. 2 Although, the Petitioner claims share in the compensation by virtue of the Will executed in his favour, but his prayer is not being considered. Hence, he approaches this Court. 5. Taking note of the submission made by Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the Petitioner and on perusal of the record, it appears that no application has yet been filed by the Petitioner before the LAR and R Authority (N.D.), Sambalpur to be impleaded as party in L.A. Case No. 45 of 2019 and L.A. Case No. 46 of 2019. 6. In that view of the matter, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of case of the Petitioner, disposes of the writ petition with an observation that the Petitioner, if so advised, may move the LAR and R Authority (N.D.), Sambalpur by filing an appropriate application to be impleaded as party in L.A. Case No.45 of 2019 and L.A. Case No.46 of 2019 within a period of two weeks hence. In that event the LAR and R Authority may consider the same in accordance with law providing opportunity of hearing to the parties.
