The case set up by the petitioner is that he joined the respondent department as Junior Basic Trained Teacher. He was promoted as Head Teacher on 15.05.2023 and as Central Head Teacher on 24.05.2025. Consequent upon his promotion as Central Head Teacher, petitioner was posted at Government Center School, Tikroo, District Chamba, H.P. Petitioner is stated to be suffering from 40% permanent locomotor impaired disability. Learned counsel 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 for the petitioner submits that in view of petitioner’s suffering from 40% permanent locomotor impaired disability and also on account of his being a couple case in terms of clause 5.4 of the transfer policy, representation was moved by the petitioner on 16.10.2025 (Annexure P-3) seeking transfer from the present place to a station convenient to him in terms of clause 5.4 of the transfer policy, however, the aforesaid representation has not been considered and decided by the respondents. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 16.10.2025 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
