Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. Petitioner's application for registration under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 to run the meat shop in village Sidki, Tehsil and District Saharanpur is said to be pending consideration. Since no decision has been taken, petitioner is before this Court. 3. The learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents states that the concerned authority shall take an appropriate decision if the petitioner's application is pending. 4. In that view of the matter, we direct the third respondent to pass appropriate order on the petitioner's pending application within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. In the event some orders have already been passed in that regard, the same shall be intimated to the petitioner within the same period. 5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
