The facts leading to the filing of the writ petition are as follows: The Petitioner was working as Deputy Inspector General of Registration and Stamps in Nellore since 16.06.2022. While so, the Petitioner was placed under suspension on the basis of F.I.R. registered in Crime No.74 of 2025 under Sections 85, 118(1), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS at Arundalpet Police Station, Guntur District. As per the complaint, it is stated that the complaint was given by the wife of the Petitioner making certain allegations against the Petitioner. It is only on account of registration of F.I.R. by the estranged wife of the Petitioner, the impugned order of suspensionwas passed. 4 3. Though nearly six months have lapsed, the suspension is not being reconsidered in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated 29.02.2024. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. Sri S.Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that appropriate orders would be passed by the respondents taking note of the condition for reviewing the 4. suspension orders for every four months as prescribed under G.O.MS.No.22 General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated 29.02.2024. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to review the suspension order of the Petitioner in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated 29.02.2024 within a period of six (6) weeks from today.
