At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners in these petitions are interested only in conducting of elections by the official respondents for the posts of Lambardars of their respective villages within a stipulated period and prayed that these petitions may be disposed of accordingly, to which Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG has no objection. 2. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, these petitions are disposed of with a direction to official respondents to conduct the elections for the posts of Lambardar of the respective villages of the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.
