IN THE HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH AT AMARAVATI
WRIT APPEAL NO: 931 of 2025 Bench Sr.No:-31 [3483] D. Gangayamma ...Appellant Vs. The State of Andhra Pradesh and others ...Respondents ********** Advocate for Appellant : Mr. K. Srinivas Advocate for Respondents : GP for Civil Supplies
CORAM : THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI DATE : 2nd September 2025 P C : I.A.No.1 of 2025
Requirement of filing the certified copy of the order, dated 01.09.2023, passed in W.P.No.12700 of 2021, is dispensed with.
Accordingly, this I.A. is disposed of. I.A.No.2 of 2025 in/and W.A.No.931 of 2025
We have gone through the application seeking condonation of 625 days delay in preferring the writ appeal.
The delay is attributable to the fact that the applicant’s elder sister was suffering from severe neurological issues and respiratory problems and that she underwent medical treatment from 03.01.2024 to 04.06.2025 and that the applicant was taking care of her sister.
It is not out of place here to mention that the date of the judgment and
order impugned is 01.09.2023.
We are not convinced with the explanation rendered in the application by the applicant. We find no reason to condone the delay.
This application is, accordingly, dismissed. Consequently, the writ appeal is also dismissed.
