The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patan P.S. Case No. 67 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.1272 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-B)a/26 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Nishikant, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Palamau at Daltonganj. On 02.06.2024, Patan Police apprehended co-accused Manbir Paswan while he was travelling on a stolen motorcycle. On search, a loaded country made pistol was recovered on his confession. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused Manbir Paswan. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has submitted that petitioner is an accused in another case. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Nishikant, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Patan P.S.
