ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue an order, direction, or writ, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the 2nd and 3rd Respondents in not completing the investigation and not filing the final report/charge sheet in Crime No.01 of 2023, dated 17- 01-2023, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 324, 323, 506, 509 r/w 34 IPC on the file of Chilakaluripet Rural Police Station, Palnadu District, even after lapse of more than two years, as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law, violative of principles of natural justice and fundamental rights under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the Respondents to complete the investigation and file the final report/charge sheet in the said crime within a stipulated time frame, and pass…”
2. Heard Sri Ravi Teja Gude, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the grievance of the petitioner is that police are not concluding the investigation in Crime No.01 of 2023, dated 17-01-2023, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 324, 323, 506, 509 r/w 34 IPC on the file of Chilakaluripet Rural Police Station, Palnadu District, even after lapse of more than two years. Learned counsel would further submit that a direction may be given to the respondent-police to conclude the investigation.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders.

5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed to conclude the investigation and file a report according to law as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order, if not already filed. No order as to costs.
