2. Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Dhalbhumgarh P.S. Case No. 54 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 5/12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005 and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, pending in the court of learned A.C.J.M., Ghatshila.
3. On 20.10.2024 at 5.10 a.m., petitioners were apprehended while they were droving 72 cattle near Kanimuhali Forest.
4. It was submitted that the petitioners were working as labourers and they were droving the cattle at the instant of cattle smuggler. It was finally submitted that the petitioners are in custody for about four months.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Ghatshila in connection with Dhalbhumgarh P.S. Case No. 54 of 2024.
