The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Barwadda P.S. Case No.181 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 64(1) of the B.N.S. and Sections 4 &8 of the POCSO Act, pending in the court of Sri Prabhakar Singh, learned A.D.J.-IX, Dhanbad. Petitioner is alleged to have taken the victim, who is a minor girl to a hotel, where he raped her. It appears that the statement of the victim has been recorded during trial, she has supported the prosecution case. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
