This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent Bhavanipuram Police Station in insisting the petitioner to hand over his minor daughter to his wife forcibly without any authority or Jurisdiction is as illegal and arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and also violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of Constitution of India and direct the 3rd respondent Bhavanipuram Police Station not to force the petitioner to hand over his daughters to his wife namely Kottu Rajeswari.”

2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Police are not calling the Petitioner insisting to handover the child to the wife of the Petitioner.
3. Sri N.Ravi Prasad, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that recording the same the petition may be disposed of.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to interfere in the family affairs of the Petitioner regarding the custody of the child. There shall be no order as to costs.
