1. Petitioner seeks directions to the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal to expeditiously dispose of the subject appeal.
2. I have examined the ordersheets of the learned Tribunal, placed as Annexure-P2 (Colly.). The same reflect the heavy workload of the learned Tribunal. As recorded in ordersheet dated 19.11.2024, even at that time there were 30 matters listed on that day before the learned Tribunal in which there were directions for expeditious disposal. It is a common knowledge that the dockets of all Courts and Tribunals in this country are overflowing, reasons wherefore are wide-ranging from shortage of judges to shortage of infrastructure. It is indeed a matter of concern.
