Ms. No.201, Finance (HR. I. Plg. Policy) Department, dated 19-10-2016 and the consequent notification issued by the Rayalaseema University, Kurnool vide Tr.No.RU/TRceett/2016/2, dated 24-10-2016 as arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory and without jurisdiction and consequently by nullifying the same direct the respondents to fill up the post of Professor in accordance with law and to pass …..” 2. When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel Smt.A.V.S.Laxmi, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader for higher education and Ms.Nimmagadda Vijayasanthi, learned Standing Counsel for respondents University jointly submitted that in view of subsequent events in the lis, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for further adjudication. 3. Recording the submission made by both the counsel, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
