The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Birni P.S. Case No. 172 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 376, 379, 506/ 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Giridih. It is alleged that the victim was raped by co-accused Mansoor Ansari by deceit. While granting bail to co-accused Mansoor Ansari vide B.A. No.7379 of 2024, this Court has occasion to go through the case diary. It appears that the witnesses have stated that Mansoor Ansari was having affair with the victim. The witnesses have further stated that the victim has implicated other persons from whom she had purchased certain articles and they were demanding their money. Ms. Sabba Ali, learned counsel on behalf of the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the fact that co-accused Mansoor Ansari has been granted bail by this Court, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Giridih, in connection with Birni P.S.
