The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to promote him from the post of Reader to Professor.
2.
As per petition, the petitioner joined Punjab University as Lecturer on 03.03.1975. In all probabilities, he has retired on attaining the age of superannuation.
3.
Dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate application within three months from today, if cause survives.
4.
Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
