The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bero P.S. Case No. 79 of 2020, S.T. Case No.753 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323 & 307/302 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 & 4 of Witchcraft Prevention Act, pending in the court of Sri Shahzad Md., learned A.J.C-XXI, Ranchi. It is alleged that 100 to 150 villagers had assaulted the parent of the informant, due to which, the mother of the informant subsequently died. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused Budhwa @ Budhuwa Oraon. It was further submitted that co-accused Budhwa @ Budhuwa Oraon has been released on bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the fact that there is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons and co-accused persons have been granted bail, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Shahzad Md., learned A.J.C-XXI, Ranchi, in connection with Bero P.S.
