JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR RAI ------- For the Petitioner : Mr. Navneet Toppo, Advocate For the Opposite Party : Mrs. Shweta Singh, A.P.P. ------ Order No. 04/Dated 21.03. 2025 The instant Cr.M.P. has been filed under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for extension of time/modification of the order dated 23.10.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 6381 of 2024. 2. Submission has been made on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has been admitted to anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 6381 of 2024 vide order dated 23.10.2024 and this Court directed the petitioner to furnish bail bond within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order, but on account of illness of petitioner’s wife, he could not furnish bail bond within stipulated period before the Court concerned. He also drew attention of this Court towards the medical paper of the wife which has been brought to notice of this Court by placing on record supplementary affidavit. 3. Such submission has been made in presence of Mrs. Shweta Singh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 4. Considering the submission advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to extend the period of surrender for ten working days. According, petitioner is directed to surrender before the court concerned within ten working days from today and remaining part of the order dated 23.10.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 6381 of 2024 shall remain intact. 2 5. Let this order be treated as a part and parcel of the order dated 23.10.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 6381 of 2024. 6. Accordingly, Cr.M.P. No.448 of 2025 is disposed of. (Arun Kumar Rai, J.)
