Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with POCSO Case No. 63 of 2024 arising out of Gidhour P.S. Case No. 15 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 363, 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 6 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of Sri Amresh Kumar, learned Special Judge POCSO Act, Chatra. The petitioner is alleged to have enticed away the daughter of the informant with the intention to marry her. Statement of the victim was recorded under section 183 of the BNSS earlier called for has been received. It appears that the victim has stated that she had left her lawful guardianship according to her own wish. The age of the victim has been assessed by the learned Magistrate to be 18 years.
