The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandil P.S. Case No. 198/2023 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 30/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 17 (b), 21 (b), 25 of the NDPS Act, pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-I, Seraikella. 3. It was submitted that 5.440 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was also submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was finally submitted that co-accused namely Ramjan Ansari @ Ramzan Ansari @ Ramzan @ Md. Ramjan Ansari has been granted bail by this Court earlier in B.A. No. 4812/2024. 4. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.S.J.-I, Seraikella in connection with Chandil P.S.
