For the Respondents: Mr. Rajan Kahol and Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocate Generals with Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocate Generals. ____________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge(oral): By way of instant petition, petitioners have prayed for following main reliefs: “(i) That a writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued thereby directing the respondents to frame a policy for regularization of the tailoring teacher, as per directions contained in judgment dated 14.05.2015 passed by this Hon’ble Court in CWP No. 1604 of 2015 and order dated 01.02.2023 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No.4400 of 2016, in a time bound manner; (ii) That in the alternative petitioners may be treated as part with employees in the government departments and thus covert her services to daily wager after completion of ten years and thereafter considered for 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 regularization as per the then existing policy of regularization on completion of requisite years of daily wage service, in a time bound manner, with all consequential benefits like seniority, arrears of pay, counting of services for pensionary benefits etc. within time bound manner.” 3. Before reply, if any, could be received from the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, states that petitioners would be content and satisfied in case directions are issued to the respondents to do the needful in terms of order dated 01.02.2023 passed by Hon'ble Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.4400 of 2016, titled The State of Himachal Pradesh and others vs. Shashi Kanta, whereby direction has been issued to the State Government and concerned authorities to examine the matter to find out whether regularization scheme, if any, can be framed for tailoring teachers. Learned Additional Advocate General representing the respondents is not averse to aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioners. 4. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, deems it fit to dispose of the same, with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the case of the petitioners in light of the mandate contained in judgment dated 01.02.2023 passed by Hon'ble 3 Apex Court in Shashi Kanta case (supra) expeditious, preferably within a period of six weeks.
