NC: 2025:KHC:13936 WP No. 49079 of 2016
THIS WRIT PETITIONIS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TOCALL FOR RECORDS WHICH ULTIMATELY RESULTED IN PASSED OF THE
ORDER ANNEX-A, B & C RESPECTIVELY AND ETC.
THIS WRIT PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE N S SANJAY GOWDA
ORAL ORDER
1. The prayer in this petition is for quashing of orders passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant commissioner and Tahasildar.
2. The case put forth by the petitioner is that the petitioner was granted the land and despite the order of grant, his name was not entered in the revenue records.
3. The learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that there was no order of grant made in favour of the petitioner and Annexure 'D' which is relied upon is essentially only a list of names recorded pursuant to a survey that was conducted.

NC: 2025:KHC:13936 WP No. 49079 of 2016
4. If there is no order of grant made in favour of the petitioner at any point in time and he was not issued with a saguvali chit nor his name was entered in the revenue records, the question of the petitioner being issued a saguvali chit and his name being entered would not arise for consideration.
5. Consequently, the impugned endorsement, refusing to issue saguvali chit and registering the name of the petitioner, issued by the Tahasildar and as confirmed by the Assistant Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner, cannot found fault with.
6. The writ petition is therefore dismissed.
7. In view of the disposal of the petition, all pending interlocutory applications, if any, stand disposed of.
