ELEVATED AS JUDGE The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not admitting the petitioner in to services as per proceedings 2 No.933/2018(Pts)A4, dated 06-06-2019 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently to direct the 5th Respondent to admit the Petitioner into services as per the proceedings No.933/2018(Pts)A4, dated 06.06.2019.” 2. None represented for the Petitioner. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I would submit that, in the light of the interim order dated 17.02.2020 passed by this Court, the Respondent Authorities permitted the Petitioner to report to the duty on 19.06.2020. Learned Assistant Government Pleader placed the typed letter of the Petitioner, on record, to show that, in pursuance of the same, the Petitioner wants to withdraw the petition. 4. In the absence of the Petitioner or his counsel, this Court cannot record the withdrawal of the writ petition. However, it appears that the Respondent Authorities have complied with the interim order passed by this Court. 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
