The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Basia P.S. Case No. 61/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-b)(a), 26,35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. 3. On 06.09.2024, the petitioners were apprehended by Basia Police near Kumhari Chowk. On search, a loaded country-made pistol was recovered from the possession of petitioner Shankar Pradhan as well as five live cartridges were recovered from the possession of petitioner Ganesh Hajam. 4. It was submitted that the petitioners have remained in custody for about five months. It was further submitted that chargesheet has been submitted in this case and the offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Basia P.S.
