1. The present contempt case has been filed for initiating contempt proceeding against the opposite party no. 1 for his wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 20.03.2023 passed in W.P. (C) No. 3643 of 2021.
2. Mr. Ranjan Kumar, learned A.C. to Sr. S.C.-I, appearing on behalf of the opposite party no. 1 submits that the aforesaid order of this Court has been complied as the admitted amount for the work in question has been paid to the petitioner.
3. As against this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that interest over the principal amount has not been paid by the opposite party no. 1.
4. Be that as it may.
5. Since the aforesaid order of this Court has been complied by the opposite party no. 1, there is no need to further

proceed in the matter. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite party no. 1 is hereby dropped.
6. The present contempt case stands disposed of.
