The petitioner was entrusted with the work of transportation, supply, and delivery of potable water in the town of Podili. The petitioner was required to arrange the necessary number of tractors and tankers for the supply of water. The 4*^ respondent entrusted the work and the petitioner duly completed it. The supplies were also recorded in the M-Book by the Commissioner of the Podili Nagara Panchayat, who is the 4*^ respondent herein. It is submitted that although the water was supplied and duly certified in the M-Books, no payments have been made. It is further submitted that the petitioner completed the work as per the ^ agreement within a period of three months. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance & Planning, and the learned standing counsel for the Corporation. 3. Considering the submissions, there shall be a direction to respondents 2 and 4 to verify and release the due payable to the 3 W.P.
