GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 21493 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue a Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the Respondents Nos.2 to 4 in harassing the petitioner by calling to the police station to arrest the petitioner without registering the any crime against the petitioner and without any notice and without following the due process of law by the influence of the respondent Nos.5 to 7 is highly illegal, arbitrary and violation of Art. 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and also in violation of Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct Respondent Nos.2 to 4 not to call the petitioner to the police station without any notice and without following the due process of law…” 2. Heard Sri Jeshtadi Sunil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that the 6th respondent sent a representation to the Commissioner of Police, NTR Police Commissionerate, NTR District through PGRS. The same was endorsed to the SHO, SN Puram P.S., vide NTR202507072833 dated 07.07.2025, for enquiry and take necessary action. He would further submit that the 4th respondent called both parties for preliminary enquiry. After due enquiry, it came to light that the matter is related to civil disputes. The respondent-police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties. 4 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 5. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to call the petitioner to the police station, since, no crime has been registered against him. No order as to costs.
