It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent-Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur issued an advertisement No.02/2024 dated 13.02.2024 for recruitment on the post of Hostel Superintendent Gr.-II, whereby applications were invited from all the eligible persons. Since, the petitioner was possessing eligibility to hold the aforesaid post, hence, he also submitted his application form in the category of Outstanding Sports Person. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner possesses certificate issued by Nepal Tennis Ball Cricket Association, which is recognized by International Tennis Ball Cricket Federation in respect of Inter-State International Tennis Ball Cricket Championship, 2022-2023. The petitioner has also secured more marks than the cut-off marks declared by the respondents for Outstanding Sports Person category, yet he has not been given appointment on the aforesaid post, whereas the persons who have secured lesser marks have been appointed in the category of Outstanding Sports Person. 3. I have considered the submissions and perused the record. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has utterly failed to point out that the certificate possessed by him falls in which category of sports duly identified by the respondents in the advertisement for the purpose of grant of reservation to Outstanding Sports Person. Admittedly, Nepal Tennis Ball Cricket Association or even International Tennis Ball Cricket Federation are not recognized by the respondents for the purpose of grant of reservation meant for Outstanding Sports Person. 6. Under these circumstances and in the light of specific conditions given in the advertisement, no case for interference is made out.
