JUSTI CE AHANTHEM BI MOL SI NGH 11.09.2025 Heard Mr. BR Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents. [ 2] In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioners and as agreed to by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of at the motion stage itself. [ 3] At the outset, Mr. BR Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Porompat, Imphal East to consider the representations (three in LAISHRA M DHAKESH ORI DEVI Digitally signed by LAISHRAM DHAKESHORI DEVI Date: 2025.09.11 14:22:31 +05'30' Page 2 number) all dated 04-09-2025 submitted separately by the three petitioners on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period. [ 4] Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer of the petitioners is confined to the consideration and disposal of the representations submitted by them, she has no objection in disposing of the present writ petition as prayed for by the learned counsel for the petitioners. [ 5] Considering the submission advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the records, this Court is of the considered view that interest of justice will be served by disposing of the present writ petition with the following directions:- (i) The Director, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Porompat, Imphal East is hereby directed to consider the aforesaid three representations all dated 04-09-2025 submitted separately by the three writ petitioners on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order. Page 3 (ii) It is made clear that the whole exercise should be completed within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
