Case No. 137/2024 arising out of Basia P.S. Case No. 21/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 376(2)(J)(2), 201, 120B of the I.P.C. and Section 67/67A of the Information Technology Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-Cum-Special Judge, Gumla. 3. On 06.03.2024, Basia Police, on the basis of confidential information seized a Maruti Alto bearing Registration No. JH01CH-2533 and a Mahindra Xylo car bearing registration No. JH07C-3662. Ten persons were standing near these vehicles. A differently abled lady was found sitting in the Alto car. This petitioner, his son and other accused persons were apprehended from the place of occurrence. It was suspected that the accused persons had raped the mentally disabled lady. 4. It was submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no allegation against the petitioner. It was further submitted that it cannot be imagined that the father and son will rape somebody together. It was finally submitted that son of the petitioner namely Vikas Indwar has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No. 4235 of 2024 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-Cum-Special Judge, Gumla in connection with S.T. Case No. 137/2024 arising out of Basia P.S. Case No. 21/2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
