The lA No.3 of 2025 is filed under Section 359(2) read with 528 BNSS, 2023 requesting to record compromise in SC No.96 of 2021 on the file of the Court of Special Judge for SCs & STs (PoA) Act-cum-X Additional District Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram. 4. The 2"'^ respondent in the Criminal Petition, who is the Defacto Complainant filed a complaint against the petitioners/Accused alleging that the I 4 Accused abused him in the name of caste and that the A.l beat him and A.3 to A. 18 threatened him not to give any complaint against them. The police after completing investigation filed charge sheet against A.l to A13 and A. 15 to A. 19 and deleted the name of A. 14, on the ground that he was not present in the . village, Ganganapalli, on the date of offence. 5. The trial Court took cognizance against the accused for the offences under Sections 323, 506 read with 34 IPC and Section 3(1 )(x) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (PoA) Act, 1989 against A.l to A. 13 and A. 15 to j A. 19 vide SC No.96 of 2021 on the file of the Court of Special Judge for SCs & STs (PoA) Act -cum- X Additional District Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram. The accused filed criminal petition for quash of chargesheet. During the pendency of this Criminal Petition, on 21.08.2025, the parties made a request before this Court that they intend to compromise the matter and accordingly, the matter was referred to the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati for taking necessary steps. 6. The Mediation Proceedings were conducted where; the parties and the Advocate, as a Mediator appeared before the Mediation Centre and a Mediation 5 Report along with the Proceedings, dated 21.08.2025 issued by the Director (I/c.), APHCMC are filed by the learned Advocate & Mediator appeared on behalf of the Petitioners/Accused. 7. The parties are identified by their respective counsels on record. Copies of the Aadhar cards of the parties attested by their respective counsels are filed 5 for proper identification. Ms. K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Asst. Public Prosecutor representing the State is also in attendance and submitted that the court pass appropriate orders. 8. The parties filed compromise petition as stated supra stating that the matter is compromised between them and also filed a Joint Memo, which reveals that the parties are residents of same village and at the intervention of elders, the parties decided to settle the issue amicably and the respondent No.2 agreed to withdraw the case against the accused in SC No.96 of 2021. 9. The 2*^^ respondent submitted that he has no issues with the accused and there is no coercion and undue influence for settling the issue with the accused. It is only to keep harmony between them, the issue is resolved amicably and he has no objection to record compromise in this matter. Further, the 2'’^ respondent expressed his willingness to deposit the compensation amount, if any, received from the government, back to the government, including any such amount he would receive in the future, regarding this, case,' 10. Considering the submissions, in the interests of justice, I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 are allowed.
