No. 162 of 2024 arising out of Chandil P.S. Case No. 155 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 127(2) / 64 / 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella. 3. Petitioner is alleged to have forcefully confined the prosecutrix in his house and sexually assaulted her. Subsequently, victim was rescued by the local villagers. 4. It was submitted that the FIR was registered after nine days of the occurrence. It was further submitted that parties were in consensual relationship. 5. From perusal of the case diary, it appears that several witnesses have stated that the petitioner had wrongfully confined the victim and when they went to rescue her, petitioner fled away. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
