Krishna Mohan) Even as per the orders of this Court dated 16.10.2023, though it was represented that the sole respondent died, no steps have been taken by the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. However, this writ petition arises against the order of the erstwhile Tribunal in O.A.No.2439 of 2016 dated 23.10.2018, wherein, it was observed that the respondents therein were directed not to proceed against the petitioner/applicant therein in departmental proceedings pending against him pursuant to the charge memo dated 20.04.2015 of the 2nd respondent therein till the competent trial Court dispose of the criminal case pending against the applicant vide Crime No.147 of 2014 on the file of Chilamathur Police Station. 3. Since the sole respondent died against whom the said departmental proceedings were initiated pursuant to the above said registration of the crime, nothing survives in this writ petition and the cause would become infructuous. 4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
