SUTHAR Date : 20/06/2025 ORAL ORDER When the matter is called out, learned advocate for the petitioner is not present however, with the assistance of the learned APP, petition is taken up for hearing. By way of present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought direction to the concerned officers of respondent No.5 police station i.e. LCB Police Station, District Dahod not to cause any illegal harassment to the petitioner on the pretext of the application / complaint submitted by respondent No.7 and further to set aside the said application / complaint filed by respondent No.7 before the respondent No.5 police station. It is needless to say that no such blanket relief can be granted in absence of any material accompanied with the petition merely based on assumption. Hence, no case is made out to issue any direction in exercise of power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and therefore, present petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner is having any complaint against the police officials then under the Gujarat Police Act, Police Complaint Authority is already established and petitioner may seek appropriate recourse.
