The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Simdega P.S. Case No.104 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 331(4), 305 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Simdega. Theft was committed in the house of the informant. During the course of investigation, stolen jewelries were recovered from the shop of the co- accused Vivek Kumar @ Chhota. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Simdega, in connection with Simdega P.S.
