Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:20452 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI Cont. (Cvl.) No. 16 of 2024 Sanjay Trivedi, S/o Late Ram Suresh Tiwari, R/o D-123, Harmu Housing Colony, P.O.- Doranda, P.S.- Argora, Dist.- Ranchi. --- --- Petitioner Versus 1. The State of Jharkhand. 2. Shri K. Ravi Kumar, Principal Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, Govt. of Jharkhand, having its office at MDI Building, Near Project Bhawan, P.O. + P.S.- Dhurwa, Ranchi. --- --- Opposite Parties --- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --- For the Petitioner : Mr. Amit Kr. Tiwari, Adv. For the O.P.s : Mr. Manish Kumar, Sr. S.C.-II --- 16/25.07.2025 Heard Mr. Amit Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Manish Kumar, learned Sr. S.C.-II. This application has been preferred by the petitioner for initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for willful and deliberate violation of the order passed by this Court dated 28.08.2023 passed in W.P.(S). No. 4532 of 2022. It has been submitted by Mr. Manish Kumar, at the outset, that the petitioner has been granted promotion to Grade-IV Scale. To this, Mr. Amit Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the said promotion has been given on a provisional basis. In view of the fact that the order dated 28.08.2023 passed in W.P.(S). No. 4532 of 2022 has been sufficiently complied with, I am not inclined to proceed further in this contempt application which accordingly stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned -1- Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:20452 ) in case the petitioner has a claim for shifting the date of promotion as has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner. This application stands disposed of. Pending I.A.s, if any, stands closed. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Preet/- -2-
