The prayer made in the writ petition is for issuance of a direction to respondent no.2 i.e. Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Bisalpur, District Pilibhit to add the name of the petitioners over certain Gatas. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that certain entries are erroneous and should be corrected and for that purpose they have moved an application before the Incharge, Tehsil Diwas on 01.02.2025 which is pending consideration. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that Revenue Code recognizes the provisions for correction of entries and in case petitioners are claiming any other right qua land in dispute even then remedies are available to them. 4. This Court is of the considered view that an application for making entry in the name of the petitioners, moved on administrative side is not maintainable and, therefore, neither any direction can be issued to decide the application moved in Tehsil Diwas nor can directly an order be passed for adding the name of the petitioners in revenue records. 5. Writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy available to the petitioners to institute appropriate proceedings under the provisions of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.
