Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand …. …. Opp. Party ---------- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE PRADEEP KUMAR SRIVASTAVA For the Petitioner : Mr. Gopal Krishna Sinha, Advocate For the State : Mr. Bishwambhar Shastri, A.P.P. ----------- Order No. 07/ dated 11.04.2025 Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned A.P.P. for the State. 2. Progress report of trial was called for from the concerned trial court and report has been submitted and it appears that charge has been framed on 10.02.2025 and total number of charge-sheeted witnesses are nine and altogether 09 witnesses have to be examined. The learned Trial Court has sought tentative time for conclusion of trial as six months. 3. The learned A.P.P. submits that it is a case registered under Sections 103(1), 238, 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and there is allegation of commission of murder of petitioner’s wife. The dead-body of the deceased was found hanging in the forest area upon a tree. The trial is expedited by the concerned trial court. Therefore, considering the seriousness of offence, the petitioner does not deserve to be enlarged on bail. 4. Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of bail to the petitioner which stands rejected. 2 5. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months if so advised. (Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, J.) P.K.S.
