Claim for compensation under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Evam Sarvhit Bima Yojana, has been rejected by the authorities on 2.11.2019 and 21.04.2020. The deceased although was a resident of this State but the accidental death has occurred at Punjab. Contention that the deceased had only gone to meet her sons, would not make much difference, inasmuch as the scheme and policy is for extending benefit in respect of accidents which occur within the State of U.P. Even otherwise, we are of the view that the accident is of 2019, therefore, there is no occasion as to why such belated challenge be accepted now. In that view of the matter, we find no good ground to interfere in the writ petition. It is consequently, dismissed.
