Apprehending his arrest, the petitioner has moved this Court for grant of privilege of anticipatory bail in connection with Godda (Town) P.S. Case No. 177 of 2023 registered under Sections 379 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was involved in commission of theft of E- rickshaw. It is then submitted that the allegations against the petitioner are all false and the petitioner is not named in the FIR and the only allegation against the petitioner is that the co-accused kept the stolen E-rickshaw in front of the house of the petitioner. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, as mentioned in paragraph 8 of the anticipatory bail application.
