JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH -------- For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Ashish Jha, Advocate For the State : Mr. Azeemuddin, A.P. P. -------- 04/ Dated 02.01.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patratu P.S. Case No. 184 of 2024, corresponding to POCSO Case No.23 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 96 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of Ms. Kusum Kumari, learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ramgarh. Petitioner is alleged to have enticed away nine years old daughter of the informant. It appears that she was taken to Tamil Nadu by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no allegation that the petitioner had sexually assaulted the victim. Considering the fact that the victim is of tender age, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.)
