Instructions obtained taken on record. Learned Standing Counsel submits that as per the instructions under the new Government Order the petitioner is not entitled to pay protection as per the old Government Order dated 26.08.1977. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is entitled to been fitted of earlier Government Order as his appointment was of 23.05.2019 in PAC i.e. prior to coming into force of the new Government Order. He further submits that the Government Order can only have prospective effect and in such circumstances, therefore, it is pleaded that his claim is liable to be considered. Petitioner has further placed reliance upon a judgment of this Court in the case of Constable C.P. Dhanpal Singh v. State of U.P. & 4 Others, Writ - A No. 3150 of 2025 in which representation was directed to be considered for adding previous service rendered by that candidate in Army. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition stands disposed of in terms of the judgment of this Court in Constable C.P. Dhanpal Singh (supra) case.
