[2] The writ court has passed an order dated 20.09.2022 and the relevant paragraph is reproduced as follow: “11. Considering the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court direct the concerned respondent to consider the application of the petitioner’s wife dated 12.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to all concerned, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also granted liberty to substitute his name in place of his deceased wife on proper application. In addition, the petitioner is also permitted to submit a fresh application along with this order to the respondent authorities so as to enable the concerned respondent to consider the same and pass orders as directed above.” JOHN TELEN KOM Digitally signed by JOHN TELEN KOM Date: 2025.05.06 08:31:48 +05'30' 2 [3] In light of the aforesaid directions passed by this Court, the respondent has passed an order dated 01.04.2025 in compliance of the directions passed by this court and the copy of the same is also placed on record. [4] In view of the order dated 01.04.2025 passed by the respondent in compliance of the Court’s order dated 20.09.2022, the contempt petition is closed. Consequently, misc. case also stands closed.
