PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court Made the Following Order: This Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, by the petitioners/Accused Nos.2 to 6, seeking quashment of proceedings against them in C.C. No.1952 of 2024 on the file of the learned I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam. 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by Sri A.K.Kishore Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners that A1, A7 and A8 in the present case filed Criminal Petition No.4079 of 2025, seeking to quash the proceedings against them and, a Coordinate Bench of this Court allowed the said petition and quashed the proceedings in CC No.1952 of 2024 against A1, A7 and A8, vide order dated 21.04.2025. He further submits that since the petitioners herein is also similarly situated, the proceedings against them are liable to be quashed. 3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor also conceded that the subject matter of this Criminal Petition is squarely covered by the orders passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Criminal Petition No.4079 of 2025, dated 21.04.2025. 4. In view of the same, following the order passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Criminal Petition No.4079 of 2025, dated 21.04.2025 and for the reasons mentioned therein, this Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in CC No.1952 of 2024 on the file of the 3 learned I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam, are hereby quashed in respect of the petitioners herein/A2 to A6.
