Hon'ble Donadi Ramesh,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the Union of India and its authorities. 2. Petitioner claims to be a member of the Railway Advisory Committee and has challenged the administrative and financial approval granted on 24.12.2024 to construction of a Railway Over Bridge (ROB). It is submitted that construction of an ROB is not required and an underpass ought to be constructed. 3. Petition is opposed by the respondents. 4. Whether an ROB or an underpass would better serve public convenience is essentially a matter of policy based upon evaluation of various technical factors. In the absence of any statutory violation shown, we are not inclined to entertain the present petition, particularly when none of the petitioner's individual rights are infringed and the petition is otherwise not filed in public interest. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Order Date :- 18.3.2025 Ashok Kr. Digitally signed by :- ASHOK KUMAR High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
