Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with N.D.P.S Case No. 25 of 2024, arising out of Murhu P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024, registered under sections 15 (C) / 22 /25 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Spl. Judge N.D.P.S. Act, Khunti. On 23.03.2024 at about 12:00 Noon, Murhu police, on the basis of confidential information seized about 82 kgs of dodda, which was hidden in a bush besides the house of the petitioner. Learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the alleged recovery has been made from a public place. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case and considering the fact that the seized contraband and was recovered from a public place, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Spl.
