1. Heard.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Grade-III in the department of the respondents by an order dated 21.09.2015 (Annexure P1). After giving services for so many years, in the recent development, the order of promotion has been passed which is 04.04.2022 granting promotion to the other employees of Assistant Grade-III, who are juniors. Some of the promotees are juniors to the petitioner. The petitioner earlier preferred Digitally signed by V PADMAVATHI Date: 2025.06.24 17:48:09 +0530
Wps 5787 of 2025 2 representation praying for consideration of his seniority, and grant of promotion but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner may make a fresh representation which shall be considered by the respondents.
4. After considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of. Petitioner is granted liberty to file fresh representation within fifteen days from today. On filing such representation, respondents concerned shall consider the same, and take a decision at the earliest within further time imit of 90 days from the date of receipt of representation,along with copy of order, taking into
consideration the entitlement of the petitioner for such seniority and promotion.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any observation on the merits of the case.
