The petitioner is alleged to have enticed away 17 year old victim to leave her lawful guardianship with the intention to marry her. Statement of the victim recorded under section 183 of the BNSS earlier called for has been received. It appears that the victim has stated that she has left her lawful guardianship according to her own wish and she has married this petitioner. This appears to be a case of adolescent love affairs between the parties.
