This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction and delay on the part of the 5TH respondent in investigating the F.I.R No.839/2023 dated 9/11/2023 on the file of 5 respondent Police Station registered for the offences U/s 420 467 468 471 506 r/w 34 of IPC even after lapse of 608 days as unlawful dereliction and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and also contrary to the procedure contemplated under Criminal Procedure Code as unlawful unreasonable dereliction in discharge of duty against the procedure contemplated under Criminal Procedure Code and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the

4TH AND 5TH res pendents to complete the investigation and file charge sheet within the time frame fixed by this Honble Court.”
2. Heard K.Indira Golda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.839 of 2023 and file a final report.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
