GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following order: The above writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of the respondents in releasing the balance amount of Rs.77,83,349/-, payable to the petitioner for the work executed i.e. ‘Flood Damage Repairs from Km 0/0 to 79/650 of NH 342 Mudigubba to Koduru Road (Via) Puttaparthi, Ananthapuramu District, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Today, when the matter is listed, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Roads and Buildings, submitted the instructions furnished by the Executive Engineer (R&B), N.H. Division vide Lr.No.W.P.No.22151 of 2023/NH-342/2024-25 dated 18.03.2025, wherein it was stated that an amount of Rs.77,83,349/- was credited to the bank account of the contract agency, on 21.11.2023. 3. Sri Manjith, learned counsel representing Sri Dasari S.V.VS.V. Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, endorses the above submission. 4. Given the above submissions, since the amount has already been paid to the petitioner, no further adjudication is required, and thus this writ petition is closed. No costs.
